How it works
Boxes are kept upright and packed in rows. The calculator tries them turned both ways on the floor of the space and keeps whichever arrangement fits more, then stacks as many layers as the height allows.
Measuring tips
- Under a bed, measure the clearance at the lowest point, which is often a centre rail or slat support.
- Use the outside size of the box, including the lid, handles and wheels.
- Leave a finger’s width spare so boxes slide in and out.
- The litres figure is the outside volume. Usable space inside is a little less.
