Accessibility

We want everyone to be able to use SmartLivingHut.

What we do

The site is built to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA as closely as we can. In practice that means:

  • text and controls with strong colour contrast,
  • pages that work with a keyboard, with a visible focus indicator and a "Skip to content" link,
  • headings, landmarks and labels that make sense to screen readers,
  • descriptive alt text on meaningful images,
  • layouts that reflow on small screens and when text is enlarged,
  • comparison tables that can be scrolled and read on a phone,
  • no content that relies on motion, and respect for reduced-motion settings.

Known limits

Advertising and content from other companies may not meet the same standard. Older articles may contain images whose descriptions could be better; we improve these as we update articles.

Tell us about a problem

If something on the site is hard to use, please tell us through our contact page. Let us know the page and what went wrong, and we will do our best to fix it.
